Hope for the Inner City's "Stop the Violence" Cookout & Prevention Kickoff on Tuesday, June 5, will kick off its Summer Leadership Camps, designed to keep youth out of harm's way—away from the gang recruiters who actively court them.

At this event the community is invited to:

• Meet our summer campers and families seeking a safe haven from gangs.


• Get personally involved in our Summer Youth Leadership camps, as a supporter or volunteer


• Pray for those trapped in the false promises of gang lifestyle.

Enjoy delicious food, great music and an opportunity to talk with church, government and community leaders.

More importantly, this is your chance to observe or participate in our Summer Leadership Camps, which mentor youth in personal responsibility, give them hands-on work experience, and introduce them to the love of Jesus Christ.
